Forgiveness Changes Everything: timone davis

Forgiveness Changes Everything: timone davis

In this powerful interview, Loyola University professor timone davis* recounts her journey from doubt and anger back to a fiery faith.

Though born a "cradle Catholic," davis spent many years resisting and running from her faith. It was only after she had children of her own that she began to be pulled back into the orbit of the Church.

You can hear an extended interview with timone davis (commercial free!), as well as other bonus audio, when you support us with a monthly Patreon donation. Thank you!

Dr. davis speaks frankly with host David Dault about issues of race and power, and the ways in which religious education - both in lay circles, and in the halls of graduate schools - can work to repair and rebuild our broken systems.

Even more, Dr. davis finds the healing forgiveness offered by God to be the vital balm to wounded souls in a broken world.

timone davis is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology at Loyola University's Institute of Pastoral Studies. She was also the Associate Director and an Instructor at the Institute for Black Catholic Studies at Xavier University of Louisiana. For nearly ten years she was the Coordinator of Reclaiming Christ in Life (ReCiL) at the Archdiocese of Chicago.

* Dr. davis requests that her name be put in lowercase, to indicate her decrease as God increases within her.
